how do you think being in the army has changed you?
I think I’ve answered this question before but anyway, I don’t know how being in the army has ‘changed’ me exactly, as I don’t think/know if I’ve actually changed since.
But the truth is cliched, because being in the army has truly opened my eyes in so many different ways. It’s a cliche because it’s often true, and I guess I’m the same there. What’s different is that I really really feel that my position in the army allows me to see things that others don’t (and of course the reverse in true as well), and like all experiences, I value them.
Without going into specific instances however, the two biggest things I’ve learned from the army are humility and genuine appreciation for what I have.
